Re: Don't buy a Core kite before you read this!

I have conducted some enquiries, obviously can't help about internal USA carriage issues, but I have been onto the guy at Core who is at the sharp end of any warranty issues and he too confirmed there are no issues with bridle failures, however he did point out that at times in the haste to get lau...

Re: Don't buy a Core kite before you read this!

Do people usually buy branded replacements for bridles?! They’re expensive as f**k and have crazy shipping fees too, go into your local kite shop or paragliding shop or chandlery and get them to make you replacement, simple I recently had to replace a large amount of the bridle system on my Flysurf...

Re: Don't buy a Core kite before you read this!

Congratulations to Flysurfer direct parts sales. US rep for Flysurfer is the worst! Doesn't back squat. Bought a 15M Boost 2 & will never buy another FS because of him. I met & got to know a couple of engineers @ FS and wanted to support them but after my bad experience - no way. Best customer serv...

Re: Nitro 7 Proto Photos

Re: Heavy Nitros @ lewmt - Being a 5-strut kite, that accounts for some of the additional heft. I can't speak for Bill, but I don't think light weight was on the Nitro's design goal short list. Thanks - I was comparing them to other 5 strut kites like Ozone Edge & SS Turbine. Not in my post but out...

Re: Nitro 7 Proto Photos

What is different from N6? IMO it was a good kite but not great. Just built too heavy - but again - just my opinion

Re: Is anyone else buying carbon credits to offset CO2 from travel?

Regardless of which side of this debate you come down on - purchasing carbon credits is padding the pockets of scam artists be they government type or some private collusive entity. If you want to truly believe the AGW science the best you can do is live your life without carbon....to the greatest ...

Re: San Andres/Providencia or Cabo de la Vela

Thanks very much! Sounds like I should look elsewhere for the waves I'm after. Don't need Pacasmayo quality but good rights & reliable wind. Not worried about nightlife or party scenes just good solid kiting for as many days as I can be gone. Time of year isn't critical either at this point - just s...

San Andres/Providencia or Cabo de la Vela

Thinking hard about a kite trip to either of these 2 places. Both look like they get plenty of wind almost year-round. I'd choose based on where I can get the best waves. I saw a youtube video of a really nice peeling left off San Andres but if there's rights to be had I'd go there. Looks like maybe...
