Re: Are there enough spots for kiteboarding to go mainstream?

I agree. Not enough consistent conditions for mainstream. And the places that have nice conditions are overcrowded. I guess the kite business will be cut-throat for a while. Speaking of global warming. I was watching the Discovery Channel show '10,000 BC', about how the mammoths got extinct etc. Any...

Re: Who's better - Nash or Paul

Naish is super smooth. Well rounded in many disciplines. Great vision. A natural. Understands what goes on around him.

Paul knows how to carve down the lane, cut it back, and float in home. CP34MVP.

Nice...I didn't know there was TV in HI

Re: light - medium wind nobile 555 board

I say go for the 44. I have seen smaller guys than you rip wakestyle on Nobile EXT boards in light wind. Plus you have a range of kites so you can go small kite on wide board. Obviously 42 rides better but than 44 in good conditions, but....in my opinion, I don't like to sit and wait on light days.....

I have SRT and SST and strapless boards. Surfboard's center of balance is further back so you're just not use to it. And in light wind, you have to put more weight forward. It would be easier to ride in straps if you were powered. You have light winds so go strapless to shift weight easier. The back...
