When you say "pot" do you mean semi permanent? As in it can still be undone for things like travel. Just a thin layer of epoxy? permanent but still able to disassemble. there was a batch that had issues. Otherwise if you have one and it hasn't broken already then it probably won't. So you're fine to buy used.
