Re: GPS Action Replay - Help

I can see the trace, but no map background? There are no maps in this software. You need to download it from outside sources (Google Earth). Manual Chapter C.2: http://www.gpsactionreplay.com/GpsarProManual.pdf If I select the "view polar" from the dropdown menu, an empty polar graph appears. Once ...

Re: trimless bar setup for racing?

BRM goes racing :) Does he use alu ring and D half ring spreader bar as pulleys to trim? Or there is nothing about it and its just some shackle? hard to say from above picture. Not enough resolution for me. is it his leash connected to a spreader bar????? BTW - trimless & barless ;) https://s26.pos...

Re: How high are you pointing upwind? Are 30° already possible?

Great ! Same feeling with my pulsion, hence my remark on the upwind angle vs kite medium ratio. Regis - I fully agree with your points. I was compering Flysurfer Soul 15 vs Ozone R1V2 and Moses Comet 2018 vs MikeLabs 2018 together with one of the top World racers a couple weeks ago. We were swappin...

Re: How high are you pointing upwind? Are 30° already possible?

Flysurfer Soul 15m, Moses Comet 2018, wind 12kts, no current: https://s26.postimg.cc/670jiepnd/22222.jpg https://s26.postimg.cc/9qmh8802x/33_stopnie.jpg The feeling is unbelievable. It was one of my first rides with Soul and I had impression that I go almost directly into the wind. I think that with...

Re: Riding powered: Seat vs Waist Harness

I think a common mistake with seat harnesses is that people wear them too high, basically similar to waist harnesses with loops for the legs. The seat harness must be REALLY low, True! True! True! 100% true. I usually correct my straps and the harness once the harness is wet and then every 2 hour i...

Re: Riding powered: Seat vs Waist Harness

Mine is standard Ozone race bar with chikenloop , problem with extenting 15cm the deepower rope is: 1 - i will get 15cm of oversheeting which will be annoyting, because if i want to get the bar away from me those 15cm i cannot put also 15cm on the steering lines. 2 - Ill have to modify my flag out ...

Re: Riding powered: Seat vs Waist Harness

Thats exactly what i feel! Im used to do manouvers with the bar over my head or at least over my shoulders and now ive to do it much lower, about chest high to have the same feel. I use hook and normaly chiken loop, so ive to add a cable that attach to the hook and then to the chikenloop, any suges...

Re: Riding powered: Seat vs Waist Harness

Today i tried the seat harness again, no doubt i can hold ALOT more power, its like another world but the major issue for me is the hook position being alot lower then the waist that makes the balance in manouvers complety diferent. Maybe extend a main power line between a hook and a cleat. Try thi...

Re: Riding powered: Seat vs Waist Harness

Pedro - your negative approach to seat harnesses might change if you find out a proper one and spent some time to get use to the new techniques. I've been riding last 6 years only in a seat harness and no issue with the pain anymore. Even I used to use it while wave riding too. My choice is a np rac...
