Not exactly but I do have a sliding ring on my spreader bar and I pass my chicken loop through that. Basically the same. Safety wise.[/quote]

attaching the chicken loop through the hole on spreader bar

Hi! Has anyone attached the chicken loop through the hole on spreader bar? Not hooking in to the spreader bar. I mean opening the chicken loop, passing it through the hook in the spreader bar and closing the chicken loop. So you cannot unhook while riding. I have had a few scares recently with my ch...

Re: Warm and very windy at Puerto Rico

Toby, For 25 average you gotta go south (90 minutes drive from San Juan) to Pozuelos Beach in the town of Guayama. A GPS will take you right there. Super windy but not much to do there. Other option is 2 hours from San Juan at La Parguera. That is kite heaven. San Are has been 17-20 knots lately wit...

Re: Warm and very windy at Puerto Rico

Hi Toby! Wind season usually starts in February, with March and April being the best months. Will stays till July. Raining season starts in August and in October (surfers correct me if I'm wrong) starts the surfing season. However, for the most recent years everything's being changing. In 2010 we ha...

Warm and very windy at Puerto Rico

Looking for warm and windy caribbean weather? It's been blowing 16-20 knots at Isla Verde / San Juan and 18-25 knots at La Parguera (flat water) every day for the past 3 weeks. And the water is 80 degrees. No need for a wetsuit of any kind. Forecast for the next days stays the same. It's 9am over he...

2012 North Fuse 9m for sale!

North Fuse 2012 9m kite. Used two times. Mint, perfect condition. Like new. Kite only, with bag (no bar & lines). I think it still smells new. It hasn't hit the water. Never needed it and won't need it because I moved to racing kites and a Foil board. I will sell more kites and boards soon. This is ...

GPS watch with time for races

Hi all, I'm looking for a GPS on a wristband that also shows time in large digits for races. Something attachable to the bar could make the job. Any recommendations? I've read past posts about the gt-31, 310xt, and the prostart speedpuck(no timing), but all these posts are 2012 and older. Anything n...

Re: Kite scooter could outpace raceboards: Prototype video

Congratulations for such a wonderful idea. I think it will eventually get developed and commercialized. It will change a lot (specially all that metal in the front part), but you are into something. I just got one question for the moment: have you tried relaunching the kite from the scooter? I imagi...
