Re: Thanks to Liquid Force for the 2010 Bar!

i've run an unhooked system with a push away safety where the CL breaks off. the solution i found worked the best was to run my suicide leash to the CL and then a second shorter leash from the CL to the 5th line. that way the kite won't flag when i miss tricks, but i have the option of engaging the ...

Re: Anyone got a good supplier????

i just got 5 airush pulley bars with leaders/pully/depower strap for 5$ from real. the bummer was shipping at 15$ a piece to Canada, and they didn't come with harness loops though they're available for anothe 10$ or so.
all were 38cm length.

Re: Kite Bladder question :) ---- Please help

i find that in the winter time my nipples freeze so hard that no ammount of pinching would yield satisfactory results. so, what i do is put the tip of my (un gloved) finger over the valve with my left hand as i pull the pump out with my right. this needs a lot less force than squeezing and holds the...

the bummer about those old airush CL's is that if you pull it, the chickenloop seperates from the depower strap and easily falls out of your spreader bar, never to be seen again. if you come to realize that maybe this kite is to 'old' or 'unsafe' for you, send it my way :thumb: , all of my kites are...

my snowboard jacket has a LOT of pockets right where my waist harness rides. if they're all zipped a certain way, this isn't too big of a problem, but it'd still like to get a jacket i could wear my harness under. right now there are a lot of sales on outwear and the possibility of being able to pic...

i've got a 30lb plate weight looped onto an extra suicide leash which works pretty well.
the common thing to do around here is to anchor your kite to your trailer hitch, as on the prairies you can find a gravel road that'll work with any field you want in any wind direction.

never worn one, but am considering getting one. when hitting rails i'm always hoping in the back of my mind that i won't lose my teeth if i get hung up, and a full face helmet would definitely give me some peace of mind. i'm currently riding a ProTec Ace Freeride (the only helmet i could find locall...
