Re: 9m hooligan kite nexus 2 or supermodel?

I have 5, 7 and 9m Nexus 2 and fly them on original Core bar with high V and on North Navigator bar on low V. On both bars the kites fly good.

Re: Drifter 4 or 5 as smallest kite?

Maarten, I am 76 kg and I have a Drifter 2018, 5m as my smallest kite. I also kite in The Netherlands, Maasvlakte, Scheveningen, Wijk, Ouddorp. 5m is good for me. My setup is 5, 7, 9m. 5m is good for you also, but 4m is better cause you already have a 6 and 8m. I also think 4, 6, 8m is a range I wou...

Re: 2014 North Line Up

Disagree on the Evo. On hard setting it is very good for unhooked. Not on the light setting though. A kite which is very fast isn't always best for waveriding. Like you said yourself there are different styles of riding waves! If you do a bottom turn you don't want your kite flown out of de window! D...

Re: f-one bamboo surf sl 6'2" reviews?

kochease, do you say that you rode the 2011 6'2'' once? Is it fast and planes early? In F-one page, they say that they have not changed the 6'2'' shape from 2010 to 2011. They do not say whether is simple or double concave, but they say that the 6'4'' is simple concave. the 2010 6'0'' was also squa...

Re: Hadlow ID vs Naish Park 2012

Nah, that's just bad design, if a bridled kite needs a swim or reverse relaunch. As for a C-kite feel to a C-kite relaunch relation: Slingshot has managed to make Fuel relaunch by pulling a rear line 3 years ago, so it is possible. Ozone's C4 relaunches on rear line as well (bridled like ID, but mo...

Re: Hadlow ID vs Naish Park 2012

Don't tell people things that are pertinent not true. Hi Stayfan, calm down, my only afillitation is w/ the missus at home. I started as: " i was looking for the id as well and other C-ish kittes. Found the copy-paste bellow in another forum. Note that the person who write it is from flexi, so take...

Re: Slingshot 2012 kites

Can slingshot let me know if they plan to bring out a new rev, octane style kite. Or have they shelved that design. They don't make a 7 in the rpm and 6 is too small the 8 to big as I have the 9. I can't see me ever buying a delta rally style kite. So any news on that front I can't see why a 6m sho...

Re: HIFI Comp 2010 question?

just wondering how having a 9 and 13 (with large gap as you say) prevents you doing "legit unhooked tricks" ? With a large gap you have to depower your 13 too much before you can flie your 9 in his sweet spot! For unhooked it's best to not depower you kite when it gets too big, but too change to a ...
