Ask Toby. He'll do that, I'm sure.

Re: Difference Flysurfer Speed5 vs Sonic2 18.0?

For twintip, for that size and your style in the howling winds you are considering, you should be interested to compare the Speed FR 18 instead of Sonic 2 with Speed 5. More direct feel, more kick in the butt, and more durable. IMO, Sonic2 beats FR only in light winds, mainly for its stability and w...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

A new kite on the block to compete with the Ultra: the RRD Emotion MK3. It's the strutless MK2 to which one strut was added. Wise move. Seen a hydrofoil rider with a MK3 17 m a few days ago in very marginal conditions (6-7 knots). Was looking good, very clean canopy, turning fast for a 17. Less of a...

Re: FS Speed 6

Is a speed 6 coming next year in your opinion? This is how I'd like to anticipate the 2018-2018 Flysurfer range: - Speed 6: a Sonic2 with DLX material (the Sonic2 is better than the Speed 5 in every department, even relaunch) and slightly redesigned (simplified) wing tips - Sonic 3: a beefed up Rac...

Re: light wind surfboard VS foil board

The closest I can get to foilboards is my North Nugget 2013. Slightly more technical than the ones with narrower tail that followed, but can get going in 7-8 knots with a Sonic 15 when the tide is getting too low. If water still too shallow, then a Magnum (OR Mako Wide copy, 44 cm wide vs 40 cm) wit...

This is interesting. Could trump the Virb, which seems to delay delivery endlessly.

Re: Did I just invent a new trick ? (Probably not)

Thanks for all the kind replies. ... My foil & board is from small French company called Radical. Now being sold by airush: http://airush.com/2017/boards/team-foil/ Cheers, Oyvind. Can you tell how much the trim angle of the back wing affects the handling? What is your setting? That's got to be the...

Had you not shared this clip here, I would have. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
I second Peter's comment. Except his suggestion that the water might be cold where he rides.
See you soon Oyvind. :cool2:
