Naish in South Africa

Would Naish please let us faithful Naish supporters know what is happening with the South African market? I know that last season your shipment was not only late but never had all the models available and this year it does not seem that you even have a distributor (who I might add was an awesome rep...

Re: Naish 2009 Donkey Dick issues, coming out of spreader hook

It must definitely be a defect, I have a 2009 Helix 10.5 and 7m both with 2009 bars and I have not experienced the DD popping out at all. I actually find that the DD is long and pretty rigid with zero chance of slipping out of the spreader bar. I would suggest you compare your chicken loop/DD setup ...

Re: One kite helix quiver to replace a two kites torch quiver??

Hi, I use a 10.5 2009 Helix and with extensions the bottom end ( to ride properly ) needs to be 15 knots or so... but on the standard lines you will be able to handle 28 knots
I find the kite perfect in 16 - 25 knots and I am 80kg's

Hope that helps

Re: Naish 08 Bar with 09 Naish Helix?

Hi there. As long as your 08 bar is configured 1:1 it will work 100%. I often use my 08 bar with my 09 Kites as I have the 4m extensions permanently on the 08 bar and couldnt be bothered moving them onto the 09 bar ;-) That said, the 09 bar is much nice than the 08 as far as the leash attachement is...

2009 Liquid Force Recoil 136 opinions??

Hi there, I am in the market for a new board and am wanting to hear what the owners of the above mentioned board have to say about it. I currently ride a 2008 135 Naish thorn and am due an upgrade ;-)

Look forward to your responses

Re: 09 Helix Tuning

Hi Jon, Well my 2 cents worth :D I love the long throw on the Naish Bars. To be able to set your kite up once and the ability to deal with gusty conditions with just the movement of your arm is a great help. I have a friend on another product with practically no throw on the bar and he is always fid...

Re: 09 Helix Tuning

Thanks for the reply. Where i kite is normally a tale of 2 seasons. In summer the wind averages about 18 - 25 knots ( relatively gusty but not overly or unenjoyably so ) and winter is more 14 - 20 knots ( not as gusty but also not as consistant ) I think bearing in mind that I have my "go to" 9m for...

Re: 09 Helix Tuning

Hey Taut, I have a quick question. I am about to buy the 09 Helix and have been pondering on size for quite sometime. I am unsure as whether to get the 10.5 or the 12m. I am 80 kg's ride a thorn 135. I am currently riding the 08 Helix's 9m and 12m. On the 9m 08 on 4m extensions i can hold my ground ...

Re: Installing ONE pump system on kite?

I would gadly get rid of all one pump systems on my kites if we could trade. I bloody can't stand one pump I hate everything about it. The cable ties go brittle in the uv light and break, the pipes fly off and deflate your whole kite, the leading edge valve pops out and still the pegs open and defal...
