Re: Introducing the Ocean Rodeo Crave A-Series

Anyone with experience with this kite boosting on a twin-tip and boosting on a foil? I have a 12m Rise in ALUULA however I was looking for a 10m kite that I can go from Foiling, to surfboard to twin-tip as the wind increases from 12 knots to 25+ (I'm 220lb). I was thinking that a 10m roam would be ...

Re: The Creep from Ocean Rodeo

I've now had this board for almost a year........best kite-surfboard I've ever had, hands down. It's the perfect mix of grip and shape to allow it to be pretty comfortable in wind chop, but still able to let the fins go on a slash. I like a smaller board (5'4" to 5'2") and I've had multiple Tomo sha...

Re: Introducing the Ocean Rodeo Crave A-Series

Yeah, I've been on the OR Crave since it came out, it's my go to kite basically (9m) I have Roams in 7m/12m for stability on the 7, and because typically if I'm on a 12 I'm foiling. No issues at all with a wear point, great balance of turning speed and drift. Honestly, this kite in Aluula would fit ...

Re: OR 12m HL-flite vs HL-Crave

I have a ton of experience flying all of these kites. I would first say that the Roams are super good for foiling/waves, as they drift well, loop well, and aren’t very grunty (which is nice when you’re down looping on foil or trying to keep from getting pulled off a wave). However, that lack of gru...

Re: The Creep from Ocean Rodeo

So, I've had this board for about 6 weeks and luckily I've ran it through most all of the conditions we will have - knee high mush, waist-chest high mush, and some cleaner longer period type waves (still under head high). All different wind conditions, high wind/low wind, frontside/backside, etc. It...

Re: Aluula Kites - for those of you who already have some hands-on experience

Quick note on the 9m Crave Hybrid. I have about 20 sessions on this kite, mostly strapless surf, but I worked in some freestyle/tt sessions. A few sessions back to back with the traditional Crave, here's some notes: 1. Crave Hybrid, obviously lighter and smaller LE than the original Crave. It's def...

Re: The Creep from Ocean Rodeo

Got one ordered, I will review once I get some sessions on it and get it dialed. Again, I think it's going to be perfect for a majority of east coast waves.

Re: The Creep from Ocean Rodeo

Yeah, pretty excited for this board, good size/volume, a bit more surf-oriented. I'm guessing it will be perfect for a majority of the waves I kite (knee - chest, short period mush).

Re: mystic stealth bar

Which bar are you using? You can always get a small piece of Q power line and attach it someplace safe on/just above the QR area? It's the OR Stick Shift V3, I attach above the QR, but it puts pressure on the swivel which then in turn, puts pressure on the QR to click back into place. I can tension...
