Re: GoPro Hero 7 coming soon....

Good call on the Rylo. Forgot to mention them. If the GP7 doesn't make good on the "gimbal like stabilization" I'm going to look closer at the Rylo. (there's still some quirks to the Rylo.....the editing interface on your phone/device kind of sucks) I hate to beat the dead horse on the stabilization...

GoPro Hero 7 coming soon....

So does anyone care at this point?............lol Well I sort of do. GP has had about 3 years to figure out image stabilization since the new players in the field (Revl Arc, Sony and Garmin) have made strides in the tech and are eating market share in the process. The rumor for the Hero 7 is "gimbal...

Re: Mouth Mount for GOpro, high probability of injury the face?

The ones that don't look like a snorkel (e.g. official gopro) fold and hook over the harness hook when not in use a lot easier. You can also use them as a tripod stand if you want to film stuff from a stationary point. This. The snorkel one I tried was terrible. I couldn't breath well and it was ve...

Re: 2019 Naish Apex pads

Same same. Just beware if you're a bigfoot. US mens 11 is the largest it will take, sans booties. Hmm, I dunno about that. I have size 12 feet, and I can use them easily with booties too. Maybe some other factors are at play? I wear a US 10.5-11 and my toes/heels are within a centimeter of being ov...

Re: 2018 Axis Limited/Vanguard

Poach.....I have the 148 and 134 as a demo if you want to swing down Madison and try one or buy it and if you don't like it, I'll take it back. Pretty much no risk. Going to OBX in Oct? Hope they all survive this week. Bob www.kiteridersllc.com Bob, Yeah I was hoping you'd chime in on this post! Tr...

2018 Axis Limited/Vanguard

Wondering if anyone here owns or has demo'ed the 2018 Limited or Vanguard from Axis? I know they changed again for this year - somewhat abandoning the Fat Rail, changing rocker and revising the bottom shaping. (less) I really liked the 2014 Limited I had. (shouldn't have sold it...) However after re...

Bring a decent wetsuit. The Great Lakes are renowned for their lack of warmth.... Sept 5,2018 C8BF49BC-6DA2-4A3D-A198-B09949BE9DC6.jpeg Ha ha ha! Re: Duotone Rebel 2019

What did the 5th line do that made Rebels so good? I've never tried either variation of them, but I keep hearing guys lament the loss of the 5th line.... I always thought it was just a safety measure for added depower? Did it make the kite jump better somehow? Anyway.....no real interest in either ...

Re: What harness to choose? Mystic vs Prolimit

So the first thing everyone here (myself included) will tell you is to go try them on. Don't go by what someone says is "the ultimate" harness because it really comes down to fit. Everyone's body is shaped really differently, so hard to go based off of some random net suggestions..... However, I ha...
