First session with the Garmin Virb 360

Hi. Few days ago I had a short kite session in which I used for the very first time the new Garmin Virb 360. It is my first 360 Action Cam and I have to admit: I'm stoked! As the web site says: this rugged, waterproof camera is true to its name, recording the full 360 degrees — horizontally and vert...

Re: Feasibility of the ONE for surf, foil and kitesurf

My Mitu Monteiro 5'11 convertible with the Ketos foil Freeride 2 is a killer combo and I can use It both for surfing, strapless freestyle, strapped jumping, and foil boarding. Yes It is big for HF but I can travel with only one board and when the wind is very light I am well powered with a 12 m kite...

Flysurfer Sonic 2 15 and 18 in 10 to 15 Knots

Hi. I live in the center of Italy and the wind conditions of my home spot are, very often, marginal to say the less. So, doing basic airstyle tricks requires kites with a lot of controllable and smooth power, lift and hang time even in a wind range of 10 to 15 Knots. In this short video I show my Fl...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a foilkite fan

Today I tried for the very first time the Airush Ultra 12 with my combo HF ASV Rampage/ Manta V1. The wind conditions were marginal (6/8 Knots onshore breeze) and the water very choppy. I was stoked, not only this kite was super stable but It also delivered a very smooth and predictable power. I was...

Re: Your worst kitesurf injury ?

I fractured my sternum (It literally exploded) hitting hard the water after a megaloop in very strong wind. I was using a wave kite....big mistake :nono: ! Worst crash ever, I risked my life, I remained unconscius for several seconds It was a miracle that I was able to relaunch my kite and get to th...

My first sessions with the Airush Slayer 5'1 V4

Hi fellow kiters. In this short video I show you my first sessions, both strapless and strapless, with the Airush Slayer 5'1. I've found this board very versatile and agile with a great pop for strapless air tricks even in marginal conditions. It can be used also as a light wind directional board, i...

Re: Foil Kite Relaunch Champ

Hi. In the videos below you can see how to perform a re-launch of the Flysurfer Sonic 2 (18) and Speed 5 dlx+ (15), in very marginal conditions. In both cases It is mandatory putting both feet in the straps  . Cheers Carlo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt5Ni-lqpvg https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Re: Flysurfer Cronix still worth buying?

Depending on your style the Fkysurfer Cronix is a great kite to fly. The hang time can be greatly increased setting the trailing edge bridle closed. For me is one of the best multi disciplines LEI ever made and for this reason I still have a quiver of those kites (6,8,10,12).

Cheers

Re: First fatal accident in our local beginner Bay Area beach

First of all my condolences to family and friends. RIP. Kiteboarding is potentially a dangerous sport, we all be aware of that. Thanks Sarc to share this launching procedure, besides I don't entirely unterstand how It works especially in marginal conditions. In order to better explaining It, do you ...
