Re: winter kite storage help plz

well the problem i see with that is this... my Slingshot paperwork says this kites wind rating starts at around 20 mph. The funny thing is, they are right... i can't even get it to come off the ground in anything less than 20.. And 20's and dirt do not sound appealing at all to me. I am a natural wa...

Re: winter kite storage help plz

well there are some problems there.. Here in Oklahoma, we don't really get snow. and the temps never go low enough for the water to freeze over. Not to mention, the one kite i have is a 7M turbo2. it is for one, way too big to be messing around with on land. It scares the piss out of me in the water...

Re: MOST SEXY WETSUIT PICTURE

that is too funny... I don't know which is funnier, the fact that the wetsuit says "Orca" on it, or the fact that a BIG girl bought a wetsuit that said "Orca" and how the hell did they blow up that wetsuit like that?? I wonder how it is sealed to his face... glue or something. seems like it would al...

question about jump height and distance

Ok... when i first started looking into kitesurfing, i read in a couple of places that the approx. maximum jump ability (without being lofted) in optimal conditions, is about 30 feet high, and 100 yards horizontally. The other day, i talked to a local kiter that said if he doesn't at least get 50 fe...

Re: Mystic handlepass / bowkite leash question

The leash was on sale from $55 to $30. It was about a week and a half after i got my kite. It was the very first time i took my kite out. i tried to launch from one location but was having problems. I moved to another location in my boat. Amidst all the excitement, i left my leash lying on the groun...
