You definitely want a four-line kite. Check out a HQ Scout 3m as an example. As to lessons? To start, I'm 200#, riding a 148x41 all-around (Crazy Fly) board. Currently am using 12m Cabrinha Convert. For low winds (10 kts) this is not enough. Looking at XBOW IDS 16 as solution.
