Re: 4 meters waves yesterday at tarifa!

Bolonia had quite some size, too. Side-offshore, I was on 5m. Unfortunately the waves broke pretty close to the beach, not much room :o

Re: 2018 Naish kites

No opinion on this. My go to kite is my 8m Pivot, for TT and SB. However the jumping aspect is more important in that size for me, because I ride TT more often in that wind strength. I believe I won‘t touch that decision because I am super happy with the kite. It is good for both and I like how I ca...

Re: 2018 Naish kites

I think you will be very happy with your 7m Slash. I had mine (2018 7m) out for the first time yesterday in ultra gusty Levante conditions in Tarifa with a Twintip (no waves, only nasty chop). It was not much fun, but the kite is excellent in these conditions, very well behaved, stable, loads of dep...

Re: Naish Monarch 2016/17 ?

132x41'is the right size for your weight, assuming you ride with straps. I am the same weight. I had the 2016 and 2017 model and could not feel a significant difference. Agree to all of the above, fantastic board. Funnily and probably just out of interest, I am trying out the middle of road freeride...

Re: 2018 Naish kites

Does anyone know if there is a big / noticeable difference between Pivot 2015 and 2017/18. I've been riding the 2015 Pivot 7.9 and 12 for three seasons now and think it's perfect and does not understand how it can be even better. I have ordered 2018 Pivot 9, 12 for freeriding and foiling. Have also...

Re: Naish pivot 2017 8 or 9 meter?

I would get the 8, especially a your weight. I replaced a 9m 2014 Park with a 8m Pivot when I switched to Pivots and got the same range (73kg). I believe the later Parks had a bit more low end already compared to the 2011 model. 16 knots and I am on my 8m. Great kite. I had all years and now the 201...

Re: Naish Skater 5'2 2016 or 2017 weight, anyone, please?

I am not sure if that construction is stronger. I have the 2017 in that version and have heel dents from jumping (strapped). I don't mind, it is not delaminated and I guess unavoidable if you do not want to build a board like a tank. The 2018 only comes in the "normal" double bamboo deck which was t...

Re: 2018 Naish kites

I have put my new 8m Pivot on top of the 2017. The only difference seems to be the trailing edge. No dacron anymore, but doubled with canopy cloth in that shark teeth fashion. Looks like that this year it is about weight optimization. I am curious if I will feel any difference when flying.

Re: 2018 Naish kites

Dash came out in spring 2017. I think the next version will come in 2018.

Re: 2018 Naish kites

Even if you have to repair it, it is an old myth that it is a nightmare. For a couple of years now the valve connections are well accessible through large zippers. In the end it probably takes half an hour longer than with standard one pump. That´s 30 minutes and that should be a decision criteria f...
