Re: Mouth Mount for GOpro, high probability of injury the face?

I just bite on the floater and have it on a necklace. I usually shoot for a couple of minutes, stash it away and take it out again when I want to film. I put it under a stretchy impact vest with front zipper. A lycra over the wetsuit would be another option. In a video I saw Kevin Langeree putting i...

Re: Naish Ride vs Dash

Don´t have a scale at hand but they weigh around the same. And not 3kg, that must be a typing error.

Re: 2018 Naish Slash

Similar to the 2018. Had my 7m out for half a day now with a TT in changing conditions from being under powered to very powered.
I think there is a lot of info concerning the 2018 model in this thread.

Re: Beginner kite- Core XR5 or Naish Pivot

If it is from the Naish Range I would pick a big Boxer (one strut kite) for real light wind. That is what I am going to do next year, adding a 14m Boxer above my 11m Pivot

Re: Beginner kite- Core XR5 or Naish Pivot

They definitely have. Although they do very well in waves they are not specialized wave kites, but freeride/allround kites with a lot of jumping performance. German GleitenTV test format rates them as the 3-strut kite with the most performance, coming close to 5-strut freeride kites (low end, jumpin...

Re: Naish Ride vs Dash

In all the years I have used Naish kites with the Octopus system I only once had to replace a LE bladder on a 2016 Pivot, as it was leaking at the inflate valve. I know that there is the old myth, that it is so hard to maintain/repair. That was probably the case when the zippers at the struts were s...

Re: Naish Raid vs Dash

You probably mean the Naish Ride. That is as a 2-strut Delta shape. I have never ridden one, but it is closer to the Pivot, with the Pivot having more performance. If you are looking for a kite very similar to your Parks it is the Dash as a C-shape hybrid kite. I had Parks (2013/2014), switched to P...

Re: How much discount on a 2016 kite?

In Europe (UK and Germany for example) you will get 2018 top kites (e.g. Naish Pivot or Fone Bandit) for 30-35% off now.

Re: Beginner kite- Core XR5 or Naish Pivot

Pivot is a great allround/freeride kite which you probably won’t outgrow your whole kiting career. You can jump high with it, you can ride waves. At the same time it is very user friendly. At the moment I am teaching my 14 year old son on mine. No problem.

Have a look a his Instagram account. He posted that he will do a bit more kitesurfing again and riding for RRD. His other big love seems to be his Land Rover :-)
