Re: Mittens vs. 3 Finger Gloves vs. 5 Finger Gloves

I like 3 fingers/lobster gloves when it is really cold. That´s slightly above freezing for me. Soft neopren, pre-bend/curved, smooth skin on the outside.

Re: 2018 Naish Global

Nice looking board. You should have got the blue/grey Slash to match it  Rode various generations of Globals since 2010 and always liked them, apart from 2013. Still on the 2015. My 2018 Skater is on the way and they kept the full deck with this one. I would get something like this: https://www...

+1 not worth it. Rather get the stuff on sale from a German shop, e.g. Surfpirates.

Re: Moving from F-one Bandit V to... Dice, Evo or Rebel?

I rode a friend´s Bandit (I guess it was the 2016 or 17 model) and think it is a very nice kite. If you cannot jump high with this one and don´t have sufficient hang time it´s down to technique. As you said, every brand has a solid allround kite which would cover what you want to do. Best quality......

Re: Only left handed waves???

A) learn to ride frontside on the other tack, gives you all choices
B) Maui, Morocco, Guincho & Viana do Castello/Portugal, Northern Californa, Baja California

Re: Stance ?

I am regular but riding waves frontside on both tacks. At my home beaches the wind mostly comes from the left, which is not my preferred side. Having windsurfed for a long time I am somewhat used to it. Needs a bit of training to feel more natural. Doing a lot of frontside carving on that side even ...

Re: 2018 Naish Slash

Makes a difference. I had to change to my 24m bar on the 7m Slash (2017) in one session a while back. It works, but on 20m it was better.
