Re: Camrig Gen4 for GoPro Hero-6

As I wrote above, I use the plugs only on one side, so that the flagging line can move freely for sure. The camera stays in place that way.

Re: Camrig Gen4 for GoPro Hero-6

Camera needs to sit on top not under it. Remove the rubber plugs on the side of your front line which is the flagging line. I always wrap duct tape around the connection points to reduce the risk that a back line gets caught there.

Re: Cabrinha Trimlite OD bar 2017 and Naish Pivot 2017 Kite

I (73kg) had Parks (2014) in 7/9/12 and when I moved to Pivots I took 6/8/11. Covers a similar wind range. I have a 2018/19 Naish Dash which is the predecessor of the Park in 9m and again it has a similar range as my 8m Pivot.

Re: Cabrinha Trimlite OD bar 2017 and Naish Pivot 2017 Kite

The bar should be fine, any 4-line bar with low V works. I would check, if the lines are all equal in length. Maybe then add some pigtails to make the back lines longer, if the kite is too powered up if the bar is all sheeted in. Anyway the Pivot 10m will equal a Park 11 to 12m in terms of power and...

The Naish Skater is light. My 2018 5.2. weighs 2,8kg with pads, without the fins.

Re: Naish Slash 2018 on 20m lines

I would say that at least the smaller sizes are designed to be used with the 20m bar. I have the 5m (2018) and 7m Slash (2019) and they are perfect on that line length. When I ride the 7m with my twintip I usually put 2m extensions on the bar for some added hangtime and to slow it down a bit. Have n...

Re: 2018 quiver advice?

Yep, same old myths over and over again. As it has been written probably by a thousand times already, bladder leaks were more difficult to repair with the Octopus system maybe 10 years ago due to small zippers on the struts. Not today any more.

Re: holiday resort for families near kite beach in Europe

Not sure about kids club but Dos Mares in Tarifa is right on the beach and a nice spot to hang out. Body Boarding, surfing, SUP, windsurf as alternatives. May is great in Tarifa.

Re: Impact Vest's Shocking Statement

I have the same vest, I like it. It is similar to stretchy kitesurfing impact vests from other brands. Of course you can get heavier padded and bulkier ones. I think the disclaimer refers to impact vests used for example for horse riding or snowboarding where you have a solid protector for your spine.
