No way around it. No pain. Super quick. And you do not need to squeeze the air out of the struts before being able to fold the kite.

Re: Rideengine

Pant size is not so important. Measure your waist properly and check with the RE size guide.

Re: Cabrinha Drifter - secret boosting weapon?

For me the Naish Slash was a surprise. Jumps really well when using the TT. Good lift, decent hangtime, does not drop you like a rock. Super stable in rough conditions. I have it in 7 and 5. Last year I had the Pivot also In smaller sizes but this year I use the Slash as allround solution. From the ...

Re: Board advise, 2017: North Xride vs Naish Monarch

Had Monarch 2016 and 2017 and currently ride Motion. Before that Shinn Monk (2015) which I still have and X-ride 2009. Monarch is a great board, fast, grippy, loads of pop and it carves nice. The board is stiff but rides quite well in chop when your are in its sweet spot. Must be an effect of the ch...

Re: Pivot Unbaised Review. Good Kite For Surf?

I ride both and love both. Slash turns even faster, drifts extremely good, has very constant power while turning. Overall feels even smoother. Super stable in the air in rough conditions, but the Pivot is also good in this. You loose a bit of the jumping abilities, I guess mainly hangtime if you use...

Re: Pivot Unbaised Review. Good Kite For Surf?

My opinion: If you only ride waves get the Slash. Going upwind is no issue at all. I now use the Slash at least in the small sizes as an all round kite riding a lot with a TT. I was surprised how good it jumps. German Gleiten TV rates it as one of the best wave kites at the moment: https://gleiten.t...

Re: How does Kiteboarding translate to snowboarding

+1 for RK. For me the most stylish and versatile carver on a snowboard I have seen. Adapted the alpine hardboot snowboard extreme carving style really nicely for softboots. There is one special aspect: he rides extremely wide boards (custom), around 30cm, to get to the extreme angles without booting...

Re: RRD Cotan vs Naish Skater. I need some help.

Had the Skater 5.2 2017 and now 2018 (have not ridden that one yet). Weight 73kg, 5.2 is the right size. I rode it strapped and jumped at lot. I had heel dents in the front and that was about it. Nice board, light weight, the 2018 is 2,77 kg including pads and footstrap inserts.
