Re: New Switch V2 controllerbar

@naishdude: yeah sure, i saw that. But with wet fingers? Little flags would be nice to do it quickly. Beside: What are the extensions for? Sure it is a matter of personal preferences. But what is recommended? At slingshot they offer different bars with different line lengths. What riding style / wha...

Re: New Switch V2 controllerbar

Got the bar today. I was a bit disappointed cause you cannot remove the extensions quickly. Looks like it takes some time to remove / add the lines.

Re: Switch Labs

From the switchkites homepage: Front Lines: white, 1.7mm diameter, 0.55% elongation at 80daN, 395 daN breaking strength Rear Lines: white/blue and white/red, 1.45mm diameter, 1.00% elongation at 80daN, 310 daN breaking strength These information could be fantastic, but it´s worthless if the competit...

Re: Are Switch kites getting any better?

@markap42: If I understood it right, from now on you can send the kite back after testing it within 30 days. That´s fantastic.

Re: Vegas 2014 or rpm 2014

the vegas is much better in getting upwind.
the rpm doesn´t pull so hard when letting go the bar in suicide mode.
the vegas sometimes tangles the lines in 5. line mode.

Nobile kites - expensive but good?

Nobile doesn´t sell many kites - at least in germany. So one should think they are cheap, because everybody knows that you won´t get a good price for your used stuff. But the prices for new kites are very high

How do you like the nobile kites? Are they worth the price?

Re: Nobile T5 Kite: Good kite for unhooked?

Hey Madluke, I think you´re right, but that´s exactly why I ask this: Some idiots ride wrong kites because they believe in the advertisements. I wonder if some guys ride the t5 and can say if it´s adequate for unhooked tricks...

Nobile T5 Kite: Good kite for unhooked?

Hi, I tried the Nobile T5 Kite (2013, 9m and 12m) and I really liked it. But at one point I´m not sure: They say that it is suitable for unhooked tricks. I only do raleys and raleys to blind. Do you think it will be a problem that the lines won´t get slack? Or is this not neccessary if I do not do r...

Raley to blind: how to?

When you are in the superman-position before a raley to blind - you feel that you start to sink: What to do then? a) pulling the bar to your body (to the front hip), then release the backhand and start spinning b) just release the backhand and start spinning ??? How low should the kite be for learni...
