Trekkers are fine if you use them for light AT - for what they were designed.

And its alot cheaper as the work with standard old school downhill ski equipment which is all you need for basic snowkiting

I use the "Alpine Trekker touring adapter" to get to where I want to snowkite - then take em off and click into my regular downhill bindings - I dont think they are designed for alot of lateral pressure - but work fine for their intended design (light AT) They are really easy to get on and off - I j...

what about using SailKote - I hear foil guys use this on bridles to prevent wear.

I have waited on the Cab 2009s until they work out some of the finer points.

Riding a 2007 Contra 14 - great kite - relaunch is superb.
