Re: Need Slingshot CSS Bungee, what year is my control bar

That bar is for Slingy Turbo Diesel circa 2007. No bungee. Leash attaches to the ring (A) in your diag. I've got the same bar for my Slingshot link 15m (minus the bar pullies), was out on it yesterday. The leash goes over your bar and up to the ring, a bit messy but its ok. The only issue with the b...

Re: 20 Years of Kiting!

1998 ah? I remember travelling out from White Salmon after a windsurfing session at Hood River in 1997. I looked down at the river and said to my buddy, "Hey look at that! There's some dude down there on a board being towed along by a kite!". It was such an odd sight we stopped the car to take a loo...

Re: Harnesses and ribs

In a similar place. Busted rib after a crashing a forward roll kiteloop, the rib has repaired fine but sticks out a bit. The left edge of the spreader bar sits right on the broken area, which I believe levered up and caused the break during the crash. Now ride with ION B2's which are very well made ...

Busted Rib

Took a pretty bad crash about 7 weeks ago resulting in a fractured rib, its now repaired but sticks out and doesn't look particularly great. Went back out on the water the other day for the first time and realised that the waist harness may have contributed the break, the left edge of the harness sp...

No first hand knowledge, but based on that, no, they are not compatible.
Thanks for that chart, which seems to indicate that slingy bar with Fone kite is ok but not an Fone bar with slingshot kite...

Slingshot bar on Fone Bandit?

Does any one know if this configuration works well? Thinking typically 2016/17 Bandit on Slingshot Bar (under bar depower).

Many thanks.

Re: Slingshot RPM 10m 2012 (missing parts)

The blue wing tip bridle is 655mm on my 10m 2013 RPM, which I think is almost identical to the 2012.

Re: Repairing North Airstyler

If its the valve that's started to come away try reattaching it with aquaseal. If the seam has come apart then it's virtually impossible to repair, I've tried with aquaseal and stormsure, but within a couple of sessions it's come apart again. In the end I gave up and stuck a folded up 16" bicycle in...
