Inspirational. 40 years old and still without doubt the BEST in the world. Look after your mind and body and there'll be no pipe and slippers. Just barrels, Hacks and Airs!

Re: Why don't pro riders use the Mako?

Pros could ride a kitchen tray and make it look good. The only reason pros don't ride the Mako is because they don't sponsor wakestyle riders. Wakestyle is not Mako's market. It's not the board that makes Hadlow, Zoon, Langeree sick riders. Hadlow and Zoon both have their own pro model board though...

Its the concave thta make pop bad. Its nic for slashing jumps. If you really want to maximize the height of your jumps even hooked in you should be getting some hold and release/"pop" from you board. If your technique is perfect you may see improvements with a standard twin twip.

Re: North American Speed Sailing Invitational 2011

Are any other types of sailing craft entering? Or is this Kiters only as the picture would suggest? It would be nice to see how much faster we are than all the others

Re: MJ- Marc jacobs new combat movie!

But come on switch kites... Powered up tricks in inches of water just a few feet form the rocky shore. Holly granny panties Fred. Watched the vid and gotta say its pretty insane freestyle, but no where does it look like he's in mere inches of water. There are a few clips where he simply rides close...

Re: Cabarete wind conditions January-May

The First few weeks of January can be slow but then Its Decent. Sometimes Purely Kiters do moan that there hasn't been wind for "5 Days Now" occasionally even "11 days now" even then they mean 18 knots, If u take a big kite U'll ride most days. Personally I never even Notice because I get up at the ...
