I think its a combination of two things... not being quite high enough AND not steering the kite back to 12 before I pull hard... I think the last being the most crucial

The only thing I'm worried about is that the monk wouldn't be as easy to go upwind due to the added rocker.... But I guess the advantage in the chop would outweigh this as alot of times I'm not in completely butter flat water...
