Re: 2010 Ocean Rodeo Mako line up

I still own one of the ORIGINAL Mako boards. Had it for years and taken it all over the world. This board was a huge step forward in carvy performance and comfort. Now I've heard, from a reliable source, that the new 2010 Mako Mini is another quantum jump forward. Can't wait to try it!

Re: ocean rodeo mako vs. nobile 666 opinions please

He mikido, I have never tried the Nobile 666, but I have been riding a 2003 (?) version of the Mako Freeride (150x34) for four years. I have recently tried several other boards and must say I will absolutely stay with my Mako! All of my riding is on the ocean, in flat water, to chop, to 10 foot swel...

My Ocean Rodeo board review

I recently had opportunities to ride Ocean Rodeo’s Zen (129cm x 39cm) and the Mako Freeride Wide (150cm x 40cm). I’ve been riding one of the original Mako boards (like the Freeride 150cm x 34cm) almost exclusively for four years, so I am maybe biased towards it. I tried each board, two times on ...

Re: Who makes the toughest kites?

I have to say Ocean Rodeo makes the toughest kites. Just pick one up and handle it. They are built for Canadian, west coast beach abuse. Yes, we have rocky beaches here, not sand! Winter kiting is cold and harsh here. For example, my '02, 12M Bronco flew like it was new when I sold it two years back...

Who has an Ocean Rodeo 10M Rise?

Flew my new 2008, 10M Rise for the first time. Wind was 15 - 20 knots. Riding my old, old Mako. I set the lines on the fast turning and most de-power (setting #4 in OR's manual). The kite was super responsive and fast. I had no trouble getting used to the speed. Even though this was the setting with...

Naish Defender Impact Vest

Does anyone know the chest sizes for the Defender impact vest. I can't seem to find a size chart anywhere. Specifically, the extra-small and small.
