Re: Pump my Kite, right!

IMO if you've got a one-way valve, you're not able to get an accurate reading anyway, as the pressure you read is resistance at the valve as the air goes into the kite. Even trying the tricks in the recent Cabrinha video, you get wildly different readings depending on how fast you depress the plunge...

Re: What is considered to be a big or small Board size for hydrofoiling

I made the mistake to get rid of my Zephyr and rely on 12 meters when I decided to get into hydrofoiling , often not realizing that most of people talking about their kites sizes are way lighter than me and with lots of experience . I ditched all my big kites and foil kites. The biggest kite I have...

Re: Surf Foils for Kiteboarding?

Shorter mast and faster reactions are more fun and easier to ride. I've a 750mm mast on now, and even from the 900mm I had when the gear arrived (before the short mast) and it was just a little ponderous.

Re: What is considered to be a big or small Board size for hydrofoiling

Kamikuza , my mistake , this is an Axis Ride 145/48 .Lift is not a tuttle . I have no clue what is the wing size and don't know how to measure it . I don't feel this board is small , I only wanted to know what would do a bigger board in light air and what people are using for their weight . My kite...

Re: What is considered to be a big or small Board size for hydrofoiling

There were Lift foils in 2013? Wow! What kites are you using? The Ride is 145x48 but I'm guessing a 2013 foil will be Tuttle box so it must be the race board, Maroro, which is 148x48 :D I had the Alien Air thinking I'd need a bigger board but IMO the reality is, if the wind is that light you're just...

Re: Tube vs Softkite - an epic battle?

I've always been used to leave bar/lines ** never detach ** on all the couple dozen ram airs i have had All the foil guys here have converted from tubes, and continue the tradition of one bar for all their kites. Yes, they take the bar off the kite and yes they get it all tangled. Always good comed...

Re: Cabrinha Moto - new Kite 2019

If that's true re. the swivel, then the 2017 ones didn't work -- very stiff to unspin.

I've never noticed the tube problems, sorry.
