Re: Eye protection -> tips on cheap and good-ish sunglasses for kiting

Not the Wiley-X glasses/goggles? I had the same idea, and the same result -- horrific fogging. They were too small for my face in goggles mode too :(   These were the ones! :thumb: Glad to hear that I wasn't alone in that boat... Re: Eye protection -> tips on cheap and good-ish sunglasses for kiting

I could probably speculate about what's wrong with these Oceans for a lot longer - starting with the fact that their choice of raw materials is sort of odd - I'd have used something less brittle for plastics. Re: 3D printing of kite plastic parts: low friction sliding ring

Just stop... I know for a fact that I am already better at kiting than you, and probably living way better than you ever will. I own a house, own a boat, and already close to being worth 7 figures. What the fuck do you do for a living? Sit on your ass all day collecting welfare? Collecting beer can...

Re: How to turn a hydrofoil - and what is YAW ?

Hi Peter. Thanks for taking these efforts. Clear Explanation. One comment.... I would think the term YAW doesn't come from aviation as it is also used in the maritime environment. Since boats are around a couple of thousand years longer than planes it must originate from our beloved environment. od...

At first I thought the word you wanted was "beginner" but clearly, you were right the first time. Now three years on, no change. QED. :thumb:

Re: 3D printing of kite plastic parts: low friction sliding ring

I hate to bust your bubble Mr Jabba the Hutt, but nobody cares about getting an idiots respect. I think it's pretty funny how you, bille, plummet, earwigjon, and a few others all jump on the Lets hate on Letsflyakite bandwagon because of my knowledge in the short period of time I have been kiting. ...
