Re: Need new wetsuit -NPX Assassin 4/3 or Mystic Crossfire 4

Buy WEST or nothing.

Blindstitched, glued seams, Japanese limestone.

Had everything else and it's junk. They even have AERO technology like O'Neil in there 3/2 and i think 4/3s.

I rock a 5/4 hooded all winter long in New England, 30 degrees temp, 35 degree water.

Re: Be careful with investments in Venezuela

The place is a total shit hole. I went there a few yrs back. The plumbing in the whole town stopped for a few days. Shit was literally stacking up in every toilet all over town. Everyone there ended up getting a combintation of vomiting, belching, fever, weakness and diarrhea. I fended it off for a ...

Heading to Barbados, looking for advice....

I'm heading to Barbados, Dec 18-25 with a good buddy of mine. I ride surfboards exclusively. What are good sizes to bring? I"m thinking 8 and 10. Is a 12 really needed? Looking for intel on downwinders, staying at Peach and Quie near Long Bay and Surfers Point> Also, any good beg-int places for long...

Vapor X 2010....4 Line, set up options?

Where can I find info on the various connection points options on the LE? There is a totally confusing schematic on the LE which IHMO is useless. Nothing in the manual, nothing in tech tips? I see lines are marked D (steering line). I want to move that from rearmost webbing tow point to the middle o...

Re: EH's flat klte! .. the 2008 FD Unleashed 12 ..

Great kite. I had three. Cons: Totally shitty bar! Crappy line and bridle quality, I spke to many riders that broke multiple lines on this bar. Ridiculously short throw. Crappy, depower system, webbing flapping and actually got stuck and threaded/spun inverted through buckles/ Very hard to relaunch....

Re: NSI T-90 Footstrap

This thing is totally gay.

Learn how to jibe the right way with straps, step jibe..better yet, go strapless.

This is like the Go-Jo accessory for kitesurf boards.

Thumbs down!

Tarifa....recommendations of locations and camping areas..

Hi, I'm looking to do a trip to Tarifa in May for my 40th birthday. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on places to kite and camp but also be reasonably close to nightlife. I'm trying to go fairly cheap. I will not have a car. Please specify what sites are crowded and which ones that are not et...

Light wind kite....SS REV 15M or Naish Cult or Helix? 2008's

I just sold my FreakDog 15M kite. I'm interested to replace it with a SS REV 15m 2008 or Naish Cult or Helix 2008. Does anyone had an informed opinion of these two kites? I have heard they are both great kites but that the 2008 SS REV's in larger sizes are super slow? Also, how about bar safety, dep...

Re: Massive Shark - witsand South Africa

Responsible, yeah right.
Don't think you'll feel that way when you look down and you have no foot or
better yet, nothing from the knee down.

I'm all for a few pictures, then shoot itm, stuff it and put it on the wall or in a tank.

The less sharks the merrier.

Re: Confused fat guy

I'm 225 lbs. I go with a 15, 12 and 10 and two boards, 145 x46 LF WLFand 141x40 North X-ride Kites are grunty, bow hybrid Freak Dog/EH Vicious Kites. I spent most of my first summer with one kite and one board and the kite I did have was unbalanced and set-up wrong! I wish I had posted or found a bi...
