Re: 2018 North Evo, any thoughts?

Roll the dice and purchased 2018 12m Evo. Light bar pressure (my only complaint but getting use to it) Turns fairly fast for 12m in hard setting Water relaunch easy. Pull one side and the kite just goes Constant power even with big gust Kitleloop a little heavy but getting use to it Good drifting fo...

Re: Which 2018 North Kite should I buy??

Currently on 2018 6 and 9m Neo mainly for wave riding and 12m Evo for all discipline. You will be fine on the 12m Evo with overall performance in wave, foiling and TT freestyle and freeride. Ease of water relaunch a plus! After flying the Neo for the last few years the Evo felt right at home with li...

Re: Moses 2018

The Moses website brochures (2015 to 2018) are very informative. Cool to see the evolution of the foil concepts through the years. On the 2018 I noticed the following: The Fluente 91 Easy has the same exact 590 wing and 330 stabilizer as the Vorace 101 Freeride. Why the same (novice-easy) wings-stab...

Strapless Riding

Since I went to strapless riding I find myself no longer interested in TT riding. Wakestyle riding is fun but hard on the body. Stoke on learning strapless new tricks. Can't wait to get out on the water.

Anybody feel the same? Love to hear some strapless stoke.

Re: Cabrinha = Uncool. Opinions?

This thread is so stu.....uncool! Then what is cool?

You ride Cabs so why even bring this up. Drives me crazy when people bring nothing to the table other than stir the pot.

Re: EVO 2011 for wakestyle ???

Wawando, Sorry been away on a unreal surfari trip. Not much difference between 2010 and 2011. They feel about the same charging down the line. However, last year I was riding 2010 7 and 10m with a 5'11 surf board. This year mainly riding 2011 6 and 9m on a 6'2" Resin8. This combination works better ...

Re: EVO 2011 for wakestyle ???

There is a misconception about the Evo. Too many times I read this kite is a light wind kite. Absolute BS! The people that say that have never tried this kite. I've been on the 6 and 9m for the past 2 seasons and served me well in the waves and unhook riding. Few points to ponder - the Evo kites hav...

Re: Felix Pivec Strapless kitesurfing in Hawaii April 2010

Totally stoke on your unhook strapless riding. Way to charge down the line. Keep the vids coming. Don't let the few discourage you. They could only dream..... Guys like you, Alldredge, Wilson and Mitu are killing it. It amazes me the few people criticizing don't know what they are talking about. The...

Re: Firewire Launches Kiteboards

The 6.0 Quad is exactly what I am looking for......

Do the boards come complete with straps, pads and board bag? I can't find that in the site description.

I've noticed other companies are offering complete set-up, board bag included. Just thought I ask. Trying to figure out my budget.

Thanks
