Topic: Is the Psycho a good kite for a beginner?

I have been riding for one summer and am lookig for a foil kite that would also be good on the water. The Psycho 9.3 has been suggested to me as a possibilty as it has enormous depower and good saftey set up. Would a Warrior or Arc be better?

I spent a week on St Martin. Orient Bay is where all the crowds are but if you are going with someone they would probably prefer Orient as there is nothing at Gallion. Be careful to lock your car at Gallion if there is no one around. If you are at Orient then for $5-10 dollars you can get a jet ski ...

Topic: Is a 9.3 warrior going to work on snow and water?

It would be great to have a 9.3 Warrior for the water but would it be too much for snow? Seems to me that you would want to be out in a mild breeze as possible in the winter due to the cold but would a 9.3 warrior be too much on snow. It sure would be nice to have a crossover for the water. Is a 7.0...

The B series like any other two line kite do not let you depower (except by flying to the edge of the window) where as the Peter Lynn Arc or Flysufer Warrior do

The liberty Jacket works great. Big pocket up front for the lead plates that windsurfers use on speed trials competition where you can keep various saftey items. Its compact and easy to forget you have on. American Windsurfer (the mag) was selling them.

Ditto on the Pro Limit quick release spreader bar. I think it works great but imagine the sinking feeling when, after a couple of sessions, I could not release it unless I hit the leaver with a hammer!! There was a bur on the post that was hanging up the lever. I simply filed that down and it works ...

My buddy had a hard crash on his three month old F-one Magic 12 meter kite today and the entire main panel just exploded and ripped out from the seams. What gives? Is this par for the course for a hard crash?
Thanks
Dennis
