Re: North Rhino 07

You can remove the 5th line below the 'V' at the top (Kite End) Something I did after becoming sick of the 5th line tangling up, however you will need to introduce another safety mechanism to the bar like a re-ride system to one or both of the back lines. Flew my 07 Rhino like this for over 2 years.

Re: IDS on a Rabbit

yeah currently using a modified bar but I still feel the safety is compromised, rumour has it that using an IDS bar does actually work; looking for confirmation before putting it to the test myself :D .

Re: Lancing accident

Quite tame 18 - 22 knots...? More like 40 - 45 knots. From what i heard he was a newbie, it was high tide (no room for error) and was launched by his young son, also he was using a 9m when a 6 or 7 would have been more appropriate. He probably would have died instantly if not for his helmet, some ty...

Re: Wainman Blunts!!!!!

I bought the Nobile T5 online; went into the shop to pick it up and saw the BLUNT; I gave the chap behind the till an extra £160 and walked out with the BLUNT.

3 Weeks later I sold my entire quiver of North kites and bought the 9m Smoke.

I've never been happier.

Re: WH new rabbit bar

I have made the exact some modification to my bar... the one thing i have yet to try though is attaching the mini 5th to both front lines. Engaging a single line re-ride will send the kite into a spin, engaging both lines should in theory work in a similar way to Cabrinha's NEW Pro setup, turning th...

Re: Wainman Smoke - Front Line Re-Ride.

Just moved away from North, never really got on with the 5th line. When it worked it was fine but it did have a tendency to get tangled around the other lines and or bar turning it into a death trap. I lost confidence in the end and modified all my North kit to work on 4 Lines (Rhino' & Rebel') Will...

Wainman Smoke - Front Line Re-Ride.

Hi, just wondering if any Rabbit owners have tried flying the Smoke off the front two lines only..? Reason: I want to convert the front line re-ride system to work off both front lines together, at the same time as opposed to simply engaging a single line re-ride. Why: Engaging a single line re-ride...
