Sri Lanka - any waves?

I am thinking of going to Sri Lanka in end of September this year. I have read about the lagoon places on the south west part of Sri Lanka, but it does not seem as there are any waves and it sounds like it is very basic place to be without many other things to do. Anybody knows of other locations on...

Lisboa during Easter

I am going to Lisboa in the Easter bringing my surfboard and my kite surfboard (i.e. not a twintip) + 5,7 and 9 m2 LF Envy kites. Any with local knowledge that has an idea where it is going to be good for wave kitesurfing from Thursday to Monday? :-) (we have a car)

Re: Nick Jacobsen Crane Jump- Cape Town

If you doubt Nick's skills and mindset you should also watch this, which admittedly looks a bit gay compared to the crane pics, but still worth watching:

Kitesurfing Greece near Stoupa

Hi there ! Are there any good kiting spots near Stoupa in Greece? And how is the wind? I might be going there in late July. If Stoupa is not a very know location you can find it here: http://maps.google.dk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=da&geocode=&q=Stoupa,+greece&sll=36.128746,-90.310689&sspn=20.672777,46...

Re: Firewire Launches Kiteboards

Hi Felix

I have watched your videos and I really like the unhooked and powerful style that you showcase in the video from South Africa and Oahu.

With regards to the SA video:
What size kites are you on and what model?
What line length?
And what size and model board are you on?

Super, thanks!

I think I will bring my 10 and 14.

How do I get to Pirlanta beach from Cesme city?

And is Pirlanta THE place to be, or are spots near by?

Thx again :thumb:

Cesme Turkey, kitesizes

Hi!

I am going to Cesme this thursday and I am bringing kitegear.

Which kitesizes should I bring (I have 8-10-12-14), and was that it might be enough to bring two kites?

Which beach is the best for kitesurfing? And if you have links to it, it would be perfect :thumb:

Aloha!
