Wood skim with deck pad, enough to float the aluminum foil but quite neutral. What are the approximate dimensions of your wood skim? Is it just a home made plywood one or a store bought? Foiling with a low volume board has taken it to the next level. I often approach the board in the water feet first. Tipping the near rail at the tail with my back foot makes it easy to manipulate into launch position hands free while tensioning the lines for a quick and seamless take off. Looks abo...

if it is any one of the above comments that would be pretty disappointing considering the content of the video

LIGHT YEARS AHEAD... everything above has already been done by someone else. If they do that then they would be years behind.... well except the albatross thing but that was just silly

I've hit rays in Pamilico Sound... even the little ones are enough to wipe you out. Glad to be back on the Great Lakes though... nothing in there wants to eat me or sting me and you can drink the water (if you have to)

I really like them, and I am progressing well with them, they allow me to keep flying long enough to recover when I mess up. I ask because my wife is not progressing as quickly and I wonder if these wings are making the difference for me. She is using a set of medium aspect wings so they do not keep...

looks like your max depth was a bit off when cutting those stop sign shapes....
