Re: Florida one kite for all winds?

yea if you have to choose 1, I'd probably go with a 9m or 10m. 9 if you can combine it with a surfboard and twintip.

Re: Always problems with abs

I see some posts mentioning yoga stretching etc. I think the older we get this becomes more important, x100 if your sitting at a desk all day every day. deep core muscles (psoas and QL to name a couple) get tight and affect everything else. One stretch I've found made a noticeable difference in a co...

Re: Miami / S Florida Current Situation

Hi, It's not the best place for your situation. But here are the options as i currently understand them. be prepared to drop $100+ :-/ Virginia Key would work for you but probably not for her.(tight launch area, very busy beach at weekend, need to stay upwind, have to do a water packdown to come in ...

la Ventana board rental?

Would I be correct in assuming I will have no problem renting or buying a harness and board in La Ventana next week?

Re: Hand numbness at night after big sessions?

I suffered from various issues like this for a year or 2 after I herniated a disc in my neck. physio, strength training, more careful & less kiting, haven't experienced it in about the last 2yrs. As far as I can tell i'm back to 100% now.

definitely worth a doctors appointment in my opinion.

Re: How Long Does A Harness Last

Not as long as they use to! but it depends on so many factors.

My warrior II harness is still going strong after about 11yrs.
My ion boardshorts harness is falling apart after after 1 season.

Re: Hydrofoil low end (~7-11knots)

i foil on a 1100cm wing and would consider myself average at best. With the 9m hyperlink UL i was able to get going in 7-8kts this summer (sometimes even dropping into the 6's. Had someone measuring wind speed on the beach while i was struggling to get up and go. the wind picked up to 8-9kts and i w...

Apologize for suspecting a troll. You have made some poor gear decisions. Again, don't want to be harsh, just honest. I'm 100% sure that you will sell that foil and get a more moderate wing. 1000-1200cm 2. Everything you try to learn will be 5x harder. So unless you are exceptionally talented and c...
