Impressive video and photos! you really scored! respect! on the 60 knots thing, the IWindsurf graphs are in MPH not knots. Looks like the gusts peaked at 50 mph 6am Saturday morning... 50mph = about 43 knots I've seen 50-60 knots and at that point the water looks more like fog / smoke ... you really...

Slingshot has always had a thick amsteel depower rope, which makes it real strong. One downside is the stiffness in the sheeting and steering, though the steering issue is mostly dealt with by the dugout on the one side. When you ride the bar back to back with others that have smaller rope / bigger ...

yeah its so good it kind of feels like cheating :D that is not to say it doesn't do a nice powered loop, it just does it so fast with such light bar pressure that its almost automatic. If you want to cut the dick down to size I'd recommend taking out the plastic piece on the inside (viagra?) Dax, Dan had a 10 m Octane rigged but went out with a borrowed 7 m Fuel correct? Do you know if the 7 m was rigged with a 5th line or not?
