Re: Anyone with any info on Dyno 2016??

As usual, sine the delivery of the kite, we have had nearly record setting warm weather with no fronts on the horizon. Hopefully some weather comes through next week. I'll be back on here with a belated review/take as soon as possible.

Re: Dyno kite care?

Guess what I am asking is are they actually weaker or more fragile than the typical north kite

Dyno kite care?

Just received my 15 Dyno 10m, but still waiting on the wind to come back. Have read about the differing fabric on the LE. It is light, and I assume a bit more delicate than the standard reinforced entry or everyman kite. How does this hold up? Is it best to stick to grassy or sandy launching and awa...

Re: Micro Loop not on 2015 bar?

And one more question, is it possible to use a new 2015 5th E line set on a 2012 quad bar that needs new lines? I can get the old quad bar, but it needs repair Also, I assume that the vario cleat that adjusts your bar height isn't strong enough to hold our weight. I wonder if there is a work around ...

Micro Loop not on 2015 bar?

I was just catching up on Toby's adventures in airstyle and was about to purchase the dvd when I saw the part about the micro loop. So I take it that since 2013, no north bars have the micro loop, or hook on the main loop to use one. This is disappointing as I just ordered a 2015 bar on ikitesurf cl...

Re: Is north dyno a jump back to delta kite shapes

Good info. As for controlling the position, I get it. Some aggressive high ar kites jump forward and back with gusts. As to the trimming, does the kite on that bridal just change its angle of attack on demand, with it being more agressive sheeting out? I think that is how the delta shapes, with thei...

We do have similar backgrounds. Just looked back at an old post on the 08 rhino 10 review I did and you and I were having a similar discussion back in 2009. Man time flies!!!

And I am old!

Re: Old School...pictures from the past!

Brings back memories. I recognized some of those pics from when you first posted them. And I still remember talking about the new rhino 04s, while you were still swearing by the rhino 2 20m. Although you always needed a monster to get your big German arse up for those epic hang times.

Re: Anyone with any info on Dyno 2016??

Thanks westozzy, I did hear that from a couple of retailers, but they said they weren't sure. Obviously said that they didn't produce many and demand was too low due to the foils being the primary race kite. Finally found a couple of bigger north dealers who actually had leftovers. And even then, on...

Re: Anyone with any info on Dyno 2016??

Thanks Robbie, I finally found a dealer with one. I think the shops that don't cater to large north crowds would rather push the rebel. For good reason to the average kiter. As for the racing scene, I posted a long comment on the topic about outlawing the foil for racing. Older post, but would love ...
