Re: North Kiteboarding Issue 12/2017 - The Bubble

Whoa. Ozbungy... Not liking the video is fine, and posting that here is also fine but I think your anger is misdirected due to misunderstanding what this film is and how it was created... North Kiteboarding gave zero budget or direction for the making of this film. No money, no professional editing ...

Re: North Kiteboarding 2018

I'm not sure I understand the question... The Click Bar 5th Line Upgrade is 22m with a 2m extension on it, just like the rest of the Click Bar lines. You can use it on 22m or 24m line length. If this isn't the question you're asking feel free to specify further what you're asking.

Re: Moving from F-one Bandit V to... Dice, Evo or Rebel?

Idmelo- The best thing you can do, especially as an experienced rider, is try to demo as many kites as you can, North and other brands. It sounds to me as though from what you're saying, any of the three North kites you've chosen will probably make you happy. Unfortunately you'll find there is no su...

Re: 2018 North Rebel vs 2017 North Evo Review

ketba- Ken gave me some notes on the 2018 Rebel vs the 2017 Evo. Basically the Rebel is a high-performance freeride kite meant strictly for hooked-in riding with an emphasis on performance and jumping. The Evo is more of an all-around freeride kite, meant to perform well in many different styles of ...

Re: North Kiteboarding 2018

You cannot put the newer suicide ring on older chicken loops, however I'm pretty sure you can put the new chicken loops on older bars, which should allow you to run the new ring on older bars. Haven't actually done this myself, but I'm pretty sure it works. I'll see if I can round up some gear to te...

Re: North 5-lines bar from 2010, does it work for Vegas 2014?

All 5th Element bars from all years (at least as far back as 2005) will work for all North kites (at least as far back as 2005).

Re: North Bar problem

You can fly any year Rebel with any year 5th Element bar.

In fact you can fly any model of North kite from any year (at least as far back as 2006) with any 5th Element bar from any year.

If you have any questions or need more clarification let me know.

Re: North Rebel 2018

Sabraxas- Pretty accurate roundup of the last 12 years of safety development in kiteboarding. You have good awareness/memory of the evolution of designs/safeties. However I'm not sure you're drawing the correct conclusion and I think your sarcasm about Ken "discovering" some simple design isn't call...
