Yes. The Ultrspike is nowhere near as good as the Flydoor 4, 5 or 6.

I bought a Doutone Textreme a few years back thinking it would be a good light wind board. It was not. The Concave side rails slow you down. Makes no sense in hindsight. The Flysurfer Flydoor is a machine. Also the Duotone bindings were uncomfortable and hard on the arch of the foot.

I own both the 9M and 11M but use with TT's when the wind is flakey. Mainly because they will stay in the air. To give a perspective from this point the 9m 1 strut is like a 12m 5 strut and the 11m is like a 15M Contra 3 strut as far as kiteability goes.

Yes less horsepower were my thoughts but perhaps it would stay flying in less wind but would require some working.

I would be interested on thoughts here.... The new Ozone Zephyr Ultra X 17m weighs 3.5kg. The Contra 17M is 4.3KG as is the new MotoXL also 4.3kg. The Zephyr has now a significant weigh reduction v older models. So my thoughts are this would possibly be like a 19-20M kite.
