Re: Broken woo after 5 sessions !

This happened to me. I contacted the dealer that I got it from, and Woo replaced it pretty quickly. I was happy with their customer service.... until it unclipped from the old mount and sank to the bottom of the Columbia River. They wouldn't replace it, and then a month or two later came out with th...

Re: Best 12 meter used kite for freestyle?

In my experience, the RPMs will work for you. I've ridden 7m 9m 11m Fuels for a long time, but this year am switching out the 11m for for an RPM for similar reasons to you. The RPM has a much better feel to me this year - I'm assuming because they got rid of the pulleys. I'm riding 7m & 9m Fuels and...

Re: What is in my kite bag that they need to open it at airp

TSA is required to open and visually inspect all oversize luggage. There's nothing particular about your bag that triggers the inspection, other than the fact that it's big.

Re: Slingshot - Questions and Answers on the RPM

I'm actually really impressed by this year's RPM. So much so, that I'm switching a couple of my Fuels over to RPMs for the first time to give them a fair shake for the season. I always thought the bar control felt spongy, but it feels real smooth and positive now.

Re: Slingshot RPM size and freestyle board

Second vote for a 135 Laluz. I love unhooking and ride in choppy conditions, and the Laluz is the best board I've ever ridden, and I've ridden a lot of boards.

Re: Best gopro mount

A mouth mount? Really bad idea, there. Use anything but a mouth mount.

Edit: I totally didn't think this was a real thing and stand corrected. However, I still think it's a terrible idea.

Re: The danger of leashes

+1 to encourage manufacturers to improve kite leashes. I've been fish hooked in the arm by a carabiner, and it was excruciatingly painful while the kite was pulling me by a tendon. Also seen a friend get jacked up by a non-foam leash wrapping around fingers and looping.

Re: Xenon Laluz 2013 - First ride

135. I'm 2 or 3 kg more than you, but I would only consider the 132 if I lived in a really windy place and only wanted to do big airs (so that I could hold down more kite with the smaller board). If you want to do wakestyle at all or live in a normal wind area where the wind is light at least some o...

Re: Xenon Laluz 2013 - First ride

I agree - the wide stance is too wide. I'm really tall with long legs, and even I ride on the regular stance. Love this board on the inner inserts.

Re: Fuel backstalling problem.

Never had this problem on any Fuel, including the 2012 9m. +1 for pulling 1-2 inches of trim at all times. If you don't, the kite flies like a mess. If you do, greatest kite ever made.
