I have been lucky enough to fly the 7M most the season and have flown the 9M about a handfull of times too. I would say the bar pressure might be a little more on the 9M. Maybe due to the kite size. Flying doc, I got to fly a friend's B4 12 meter today. Good kite, good power for some light onshore wind and small surf. I have both the 7 and 9 m Methods. The differences I noticed were that the B4 has more of pivot type of turn whereas the Method has a more rounded type of turn through the window....

Why not send the author of this thread a demo and let them try it at the gusty lake location and have them give some feedback? Hopefully this would put some minds at ease.
