Re: I'll have to change my name now North Kiteboarding is no more..

Top brands can fail even when sales are record breaking if they dont manage their expenses correctly. the company i work for is trying to resolve some issues like this right now. Big Overhead, fat marketing, too many competing products and no strategy can kill even the most popular brands. The threa...

Re: 2018 - Cabrinha Kitesurfing

I'm actually pretty happy with the new clean solid colors. I think they are doing a good job of making their product look different and stand out amongst the overwhelming amount of competitors out there. Maybe love it or hate it is the best way to describe their new colors? I think Cabrinha was one ...

Re: Cabrinha Phenom

I have a very lightly used 2016 5'8" Phenom in Seattle, WA that I'm looking to sell. I'm not sure where you're located but I'd make you a great deal on it. I'm a Cabrinha ambassador so I upgrade my gear every year. That's the only reason for getting rid of it. Its a great board that will do pretty m...

Ride Engine Harness Webbing strap wear?

So I just got a new ride engine hexcore harness for Christmas with the plan of putting the Cabrinha Fireball spreaderbar on it. There are numerous videos online that demonstrate how to do this. Install the spreader bar was no problem but in the process I was disappointed to see that the webbing stra...

Stormageddon in Seattle

Okay so it wasn't nearly as big as they said it was going to be but it still got pretty windy right around sunset. The tree's claimed 3 kites before the day was over but thankfully everyone came back and without injuries. I know the rest of the world sees much bigger winds than we do but people seri...

Re: Cabrinha Fx VS Ozone Enduro

Do you have the option to demo both kites in your area? I know Cabrinha has been pretty good about having brand ambassadors and shops setup with kites you can demo. I have no experience with the Ozone but the FX has been my favorite kite in the Cabrinha lineup since it came out in 2015. Demo if you ...

Re: In need of a new kite (FX vs TS vs Hantu)

Demo if you can. Its hard to find bad kites these days but its easy to find kites that don't do what you want them to do.

I've been riding the 10m/14m FX's for the past 2 years and they are currently my favorite kite for jumping, looping and all around goofing around.

Re: Cabrinha Apollo

Pretty raw but here's some first ride footage from yesterday on the 8M Apollo. The riding is nothing special but I got a chance to try this kite for the first time yesterday at the Hood River event site. Winds were pretty crappy with massive holes and gusts. I need to get some time in on this kite i...

Re: Cabrinha 2017 New bar connector rumour?

gee golly. It seems like some people love cabrinha gear and some people hate it. Its almost like kite gear is a personal preference and not every brand is right for everyone.

Re: FX questions

I'm surprised nobody has asked yet what kind of riding style you have. I have the 14m and 10m FX kites and I've had switchblades, drifters and contras in the past. The 14m FX would be an excellent replacement for a 12m Switchblade if you're looking for something a little more sporty. Top end should ...
