Re: What is your wave quiver?

8 and 6m Airush waves, covers me from 18mph up to crazy. I'm 82kg, only strapless. Been kiting for 18yrs and now only bother if it's windy, not marginal. No waves at my spot unless it's blowing anyway and as it's x on most of the time I like small fast turning kites. I rode 9,7,5 for years but found...

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

More importantly, how do you totally detach yourself from the kite. Looks like you are tied to the flag line after QR by the pigtails?

Re: Core Kite Skim?

Letsflyakite,

Just consider the possibility, however remote, that you could possibly be wrong? Then ask yourself is anything so small worth fighting over? Personally I just can't see how anyone has the energy.

Re: What is your absolute low end?

20mph biggest kite is 8m Wave (plus a 6m) and surfboard. I'm 83kg been kiting 17yrs, unless it's windy and wavy I can't be arsed with the drive!

Re: Would normal surf FST Vanguard hold up in light wind use

I've had a couple of FST fire wires and as long as you don't jump them, it'll be fine.

I put a pad under my front foot to help, but you will get dents, no big problem.

You can also lay a square of 6oz glass on the deck too.

Agree with scsurf.

Plus when are you getting more of those 6 piece traction sets in? Do you ship to UK?

North Neo 2016 question for Dan

Hi Dan, Few years since I asked you a question. My kite sizes are 9,7,5, I don't bother unless there's waves and the winds knocking on 20mph. I ride strapless surfboards and find my most used size is the 7m, that said I ride gusty frontal winds in the UK so it's either over or under whatever I'm on....
