Re: Pittsburgh PA, Trying to get into Kiteboarding!

From Pittsburgh myself... Live in Charleston SC now. I think that presque isle would be great for kiting. I used to windsurf there all the time when I was young. I would check with any of the sports outfitters up there to see what the kite community is like.

Probably averaged 2-3x a week. More frequent in the warm months and less during the cold months.

Re: Switch Helium 18m vs nitro 4 16m

Thanks for the response... My only issue with the helium is the bar pressure. Way to light for me. Any tweaks that will give me a bit more bar pressure feel for me? I know its a light wind kite but i would like just a bit more bar feel, if you know what i mean...

Switch Helium 18m vs nitro 4 16m

Hi guys, Has anyone any experience with the helium and nitro 4 16m? I'm looking for a lighter wind Kite. I have ridden the helium in 12mph and it was okay. Not sure if I would have more fun with the nitro 16m... I know i would lose a little bit on the low end , but it seems that it would move a litt...

Re: Good Hat for Summer Days?

I just wear a regular baseball cap to cover my scalp and keep the sun out of my eyes.. I have this leash thing that clips to the hat and rash guard in the back. Oh , and SunBum waterproof sun block on my ears and back of neck....
