Re: choosing twin tip SIZE you give more importance to your weight or how much you are overpowered or underpowered?

No. Size is a function of the board specifications. You cant purchase on size Or weight alone. You need to consider the style and type of board. The features than you want. Do you have choppy or flat water? do you like riding in waves? to you want upwind performance? do you want smooth through chop?...

Re: fuselage fabrication

Ok thanks. That's 60E for 3 tubes. If I go to 2 tubes I get down to about 40E. My plan was to 3d print a spacer between the cylinder fuse and the aluminum mast. Both surfaces are accurate so easy to do. And I could just embed some stainless inserts into the filked carbon tube and screw the wings to...

Re: choosing twin tip size you give more importance to your weight or how much you are overpowered or underpowered?

Neither. The primary question you need to ask is what is you riding style? choose a board to suit that style. Then what features do you want? what water conditions do you have? what wind conditions do you have? Once you assemble these questions you can then begin to consider what type of board you w...

Re: Your support to kitesurfing innovations

I've been using the Jay XTC harness Since march last year, Its really good for foiling and wave riding. I added a low friction ring which made it smoooooooth. After a year and many sessions the rope has very little wear. As good as the harness is for foil and wave riding (particularly toeside) its f...

Re: fuselage fabrication

My gut is that it's overkill. I recon 18x1mm might be enough. I say get the 18x 1 do a flex test compared to your current. If needed add the 16x1.

Re: Wave Riding with a Foil Limits

In the video you are foiling in between surfers while on the wave. In my opinion that is not cool! You are blasting along with a floating axe that could potentially kill someone in the water. Stay away from the surfers and use the foil to get to wave sections the surfers can reach. Hookipa is a tig...
