Re: How to survive the months during which you do not kitesu

I've posted this in the land section. but here it is again. My dune riding. Damn insane amounts of fun. 40m glides down the side of a sand dune.... oh freaken yeah. Beats a crappy underpowered session on the water any day. Nice Video, but we have problems in UK as Dunes are 'protected areas' so fly...

Re: How to survive the months during which you do not kitesu

I'm 15 and I kite about 2 months a year (every windy day during those 2 months), which is really bad since I began kiting last year, but kitesurf remains my favorite sport/activity there is, it's my passion. I spend most of my freetime watching videos, reading forums, and looking at kites/boards. H...

Re: Free kitesurfing is no longer “free” to Greece - banned!

It brought out a law that practically banns kiting from 99,9% of Greek beaches, unless the certain beach complies with a huge list of requirements, unrealistic requirements to kiters! whoever wrote the list has in my view no experience of any water sports ,let alone kiting. Is there a copy of the f...

Re: kite line strenght?

Normally 3x body weight mimimum for all lines.
or just use 300kg lines

or check manufactures website for the kite you want them for and use same line strength as is supplied with the kite. For normal use there is no need to increase line strength.

Re: What is the best 1 board quiver?

What board has the best characteristics to make it a board for most conditions- early planning and light wind capable, but will still handle nuked conditions. Also good in both flat water and heavy chop. for me its my F-One Trax 135x41 @ 80kg it works from 12 - 35knts low wind - with my 11m Bandit ...

Re: Let's Talk wetsuits and drysuits

My choice - 5mm wetsuit with 2mm short sleeve Thermal vest and a 1mm long sleeve Rash Vest which I use in UK waters down to around 6°C with an Impact vest which also helps againt wind chill. with boots and gloves and knowledge of the symtoms of Hypothermia. Doesn't matter what you are wearing - when...
