For a tt, get orange fins and paint the handle orange so you can see it either way.
Or get a go-jo.
I've been looking for orange fins but couldn't find them. Where do you get yours?

Re: Best USCG buoyancy and impact vest for kitesurfing and windsurfing?

What about a rash vest with floatation device built in: https://www.versusshop.nl/media/product/cf0/hero-watersafety-wear-drijfvest-754.jpg https://www.versusshop.nl/accessoires/veiligheid-bescherming/reddingsmiddelen/hero-watersafety-wear-drijfvest-47270 Expensive but maybe the best of both worlds?

Re: Lieuwe boards

Meatball is about 83kg. First session I was on my Pivot 9m in 24 knots, second on my Ultra 12m in about 20 knots. My previous board, a 2014 F-One Trax Carbon, has been out in anything between 14 and 42 knots and worked well in those. I had been toying with the idea to get a 'high wind' 132 for 20 kn...

Re: Lieuwe boards

I tested the Shotgun on two separate occasions. First the 132, then the 136. I was very impressed with the 132 the first session, felt very smooth and an easy jumper. I compared it with the Naish Mega 132 2016, which was more harsh and had a lot of spray, and the Naish Monarch 136, which was differe...

Re: What's the best RE harness?

Mario, do you get backpain with the Warrior harnesses within those 30 minutes and not with the RE? Then that's the harness to get! Again, that exact model, nothing else. My story on ending up with the Majestic X was to prove that it can take a long time to get the right harness, not that I ended up ...

Re: Light Years Ahead - The Airush Ultra V2

having a 12M UL, it's hard to see (literally) any difference between the two versions. i think it's a good kite for foiling, but i never thought weight was a big issue for this kite. contrary to their claims, it does not relaunch well. quite often that long thin strut can get stuck down in the wate...

Re: What's the best RE harness?

Short advice: I would get the exact one that you tried and liked. That is the best one FOR YOU and that's all that matters. Long version, a bit of personal experience here: I rode an old secondhand Mystic Warrior 2007 for a couple of years. Not great but decent, always had a bit of backpain with it....

Re: Complete Tear ACL

Pro freestyle riders have undergone surgery (Youri Zoon, Kevin Langeree, I think one of the RIchman brothers) after tearing ACLs. If freestyle is your passion as you state in your description, I think I would get both ACL surgery AND a good brace. I ruptured my ACL over 12 years ago when playing squ...

Re: Italian Kitesurfer dies in Brazil

Translated from your link: A 37-year-old Italian died while practicing kitesurfing on a beach in Porto Seguro, southern Bahia, on Wednesday afternoon (23). According to police, he was lifted by the wind to a height of about 30 meters and then plunged into the water. Christian Pesavento had lived in ...
