Re: Boots Vs Foot Straps

Got to add these have changed the game a bit for straps, you can really get to lock your feet in, shame they don't make them to fit boards other than Carved/Core.

Re: Naish vs Switch

Dude, its so funny ... I love it when some yank calls me Dude, I wonder is he some rad skater dude, is his bb cap on back to front, sideways maybe, possibly tanned, maybe a ladies man, maybe even a cool kiter, then reality always clicks in and the imagery reverts back to type, tubby keyboard warrio...

Re: Naish vs Switch

You need to ask Shannon how fine Best were doing, sadly the whole tale isn't full of the ethical high points of human endeavour and it's not for me to enlighten you all with the dirty backside of the kite industry, all I'm trying to do is to introduce a little common sense and explanation of what th...

I understand your point of view but I don't understand you bashing a fine brand. It's a free market, that's a good thing and simply how th...

Re: Naish vs Switch

Man, I would not buy any kites from you. Putting aside for one moment your complete lack of understanding of my point, even if you were in my country you wouldn't be buying kites from me, that's not what distributors do, our job is to broaden the sport and access to it as well as present the brand ...

Re: Naish vs Switch

Ignore GraemeF. What a bull shit. A business is free to choose his own model. Of course a business is free to choose it's own model, just like some countries are free to elect idiots as their President, but it doesn't make it right. The kite business model in general is very fragile, it needs busin...

Re: Naish vs Switch

If you have any care for the entire kiting community which relies for it's continued existence on independent kite stores locally, with shops and schools enjoying a small structured profit from kite sales and a motivation to continue to promote the activity to newcomers, who replace the wastage of k...

Re: Which kite manufacturer's kites have the highest quality/are most durable

In my time I've sold North, Slingshot and have experienced pretty much all the kite industry has to compete with stuff I've sold. By far the most reliable and least problematic warranty wise has been Core, to date the only problem we've had was a leaky bladder. The materials they use, from the cloth...
