If it is at the threads use silicone plumbers tape.

Yes I did change out the main line in the tube . Not the easiest task but doable. Do not leave your bar in the sand with tube ends into the wind and wash the bar off and flush and dry ,make sure your safety can move freely in the tube. About all you can do unless you go tubeless.

Welcome aboard FA ,Don't give up WS but you will get on the water more with kiting . My largest sail now is a 5.8 mtr ,but mostly sail when its 5.3 or less.I'm 174 lbs. Maybe see you at Mui Ne next year if I don't hit Capetown . Must have been Cray Cray with the new year in Mui Ne ;)
