The place next door to me is for sale for $1.35m. About a 30 metre walk to one of the best kiting spots in Sydney. Plus you can just pump up on your front lawn so your kite doesn't get sandy :D

Roughly a 45min-1hr drive to the City too in peak hour.

I've flown both and they're pretty much equal as far as depower goes with the normal bar. Haven't used it with the wave bar. One thing about the type 7 I noticed is that it's a gruntier kite than the crossbow and switchblade when unhooking, and I felt it was heaps steadier in the sky (not so on-off ...

Hey Mat, It's pretty easy to do, and you can let go pretty much straight after the initial "rip" up off the water. You know how you can feel the big pull, about half-way through that you can let go cause it's not so much one big yank anymore but just a more constant powerful pull. Then just grab you...

How is unhooked 2? Any good? I'm up for a new kite vid and want something with plenty of wakestyle and no dangling.

I thought today that the pros would be looking more for something that is more stable and reliable than something that was fast and can jump high. Most guys ride wakestyle these days anyway, so hangtime is no big deal. The amount of air those guys are getting for their L-mobes and what-ever other cr...

We tried 8m lines a while back on a 9m fuel. It was shit. Maybe with a 4 in 100knot winds would be fun... Are you using them for anything other than kiteloops? The carnage is great on short lines but they're shit for anything else.

G'day Vman, I ride Visions, 8, 12, and 18. Their not as fast as the Reactor but still an awesome kite. In saying that the 8 Vision is still a ridiculously fast kite, for wakestyle riding i would say too fast. Even with one hand towards the centre of the bar the kite nearly downloops if you have too ...
