Re: Air show in Fort Lauderdale. Is it safe to kite?

Is it safe to kite? Absolutely.
Should you? Absolutely not.
Why? Because people who don't know any better will look and think it is a problem. It will look bad, even if it really isn't.
Logic, and a factual assessment of the situation have nothing to do with it.
Same as kiting in a hurricane...

I am sure this watch is reasonably priced! https://www.breitling.com/us-en/emergency/ But I get the hesitation in using it. And...

Re: How dangerous is this?

One always has to ask themselves how this is going to look IF something were to go wrong. In this case, evidenced just by the fact that we are having this conversation, I think the answer is obvious. Not good. Yeah, yeah, we are all free to make our own decisions...BUT, we also have a social respons...

I suggest something with ninja toe. Keeps the booties from slipping and twisting around your foot.

Re: Airline Pilots, Kiteboard on Layovers?

A couple of foil kites and a split board plus a harness that will fold flat and you have a nice travel setup that will fit easily in a duffel bag.

Niceee.

Re: Ocean Rodeo stick shift bar

Very cool, nice to see another manufacturer appreciating an innovative design and licensing it instead of copying it. :thumb: I know BWS always appreciated a simple bar with no extra bits to distract in the surf, so this seems like a great fit being that it's such a clean looking bar. (no trim stra...
